Environmental Responsibility
We are very aware of our environmental and corporate responsibilities. All aspects of our work are undertaken in an efficient and sustainable manner. This is achieved through regular monitoring of our works and researching new methods of working and technologies. We are always looking at new ways in which we can improve our environmental performance, whether it be improving the fuel efficiency of our company vehicles to reducing the environmental impacts of our works.
Environment Management System
In 2009/2010 we plan to undertake a detailed study into our operations and the environmental impact they have. The aim is to identify and build on good practice but also to identify where improvements could be made. We hope to use this study as a platform to help us develop an Environment Management System which can be accredited to ISO 14001.
Authorisations
We operate a number of permitted waste management facilities. One permitted Landfill site and Materials Recycling Facility are supplemented by sites authorised under specific exemptions from Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2007. We are also registered with the Environment Agency as a Waste Carrier and Broker.
Audit and Reporting
We provide a bespoke environmental reporting service tailored to meet your specific requirements. This can include providing details of wastes removed from your site to details of the amount of waste recycled and how it was recycled.
