On 1 March 2006 Chunrgold Recycling and Tarmac formed a joint venture company called Tarmac & Churngold Recycled Aggregates Limited (TCRA). The business brings together a wealth of professional experience in the mineral extraction and recycling fields. It was formed to deal with the increasing market requirements for recycled aggregates and similar products within the Bristol and surrounding area. For more information on TCRA please click here or contact TCRA's Sales and Development Manager Jon Graham.
We are committed to the production and development of premium quality recycled and quarried aggregates using our mobile crushers and screeners. Through investment in 'state of the art' plant and machinery we are able to produce the following materials.

| Type 1 sub base SHW 803 | Animal bedding |
| 63/10 graded drainage material | Puddle clay |
| Pipe bedding | Cover materials |
| Road planings | |
| Building stone | |
| Cohesive and non cohesive fill materials (Class 1A and 2C) | |
| Sand | |
| Dust |
All volumes and material types are catered and there can be valuable cost savings for our customers to take advantage of. Our topsoil is available throughout the year and can be inspected before delivery to site. We can supply all grades of topsoil and provide supporting documentation where required.
In 2004 we were awarded a grant from WRAP to invest in developing our recycled aggregate business. This was the first grant of its kind to be awarded to a recycling company. Since 2004 we have continued to ensure that all our recycled aggregates are produced in accordance with the WRAP Quality Protocol (The Quality Protocol was developed to assist recycled aggregate producers in demonstrating their recycled aggregate meets a quality standard). We have developed a detailed and robust quality management system to help us ensure our operations are carried out within the protocol. We review this on a regular basis not only to ensure our operations adapt to legislative and market changes but also to ensure they remain efficient and sustainable.
